Introduction

Adobe Illustrator is the industry-standard vector graphics software used by millions to create logos, illustrations, packaging, and more. Adobe Certified Associate certification demonstrates proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and foundational digital design skills.

Session 2 :  1.00am to 6.00pm

Course Objective

  1. Upskill the participants skills and knowledge in the Adobe Illustrator software
  2. Start graphic design projects by setting them up properly for each job
  3. Editing photos in Adobe Illustrator cc
  4. Creating illustrations, icons and other vector artwork in adobe photoshop cc 
  5. Designing multi-page documents, brochures, banners and etc.
  6. Confidently working with type, images and graphics to produce engaging designs for a variety of outputs like print, web, mobile (ui and ux)
  7. Obtain a professional certification

Course Content

  1. Selection and Drawing Tools Drawing and Editing Basic Shapes , Creating Paths using the Pen and Pencil Tools, Using Brushes, Using the Pathfinder Tool, Selection Tools, Isolation Mode, Using Live Trace
  2. Using Colour Applying Stroke and Fill Colours, RGB, CMYK, and Pantone Colours, Using Kuler and the ‘Live Colour’ Panel, ‘Live Colour’ Recolouring, Gradients and Blends, Saving and Importing Colours, Using Live Paint to Simplify Complex Illustration Tasks
  3. Working with Text and Images Typing Directly onto the Page, Importing Text from a Text File, Setting Text Attributes,Wrapping Text, Adding Images and other Artwork to Illustrator, Choosing Wheth- er to Link or Embed Images, Working with Clipping Paths, Editing Image Colours and Appearance, Using ‘Live Trace’ to Create Vector Art from Photographs
  4. Effects and the Appearance Panel Using Effects and Appearances, Multiple Fills and Strokes on a Path, Creating and Using Graphic Styles
  5. Working with Layers Creating Layers, Setting Layer Properties, Viewing, Hiding, and Locking Layers, Moving Objects.
